Racine, WI… Master Appliance Corp., North America’s leading manufacturer of professional quality heat tools for industry, is expanding its export business to the European Union by introducing five new CE Certified, RoHS Compliant, Proheat® Series electric heat gun models and kits for industrial, electronic, automotive and laboratory applications such as heating and drying temperature sensitive materials, bending and forming plastics, terminating specialty connectors, shrinking tubing, soldering/desoldering, curing resins, drying filler and vinyl repair.
Master’s Proheat Series heat guns are compact, lightweight, easy-to-use and ergonomically designed for superb balance and grip. They feature a durable enclosed ceramic heating element and heavy-duty Lexan® plastic housing, with built-in stand and hanging loop. A permanent magnet DC motor delivers powerful airflow at 425l/m. An industrial quality 3-wire grounded cordset and hand / switch guard provides increased safety. Three cordset types with plugs for the United Kingdom, Continental Europe and Italy are available. The Proheat Model PH-2100 is an economical Heat Gun with a three position switch and dual temperatures of 260°C or 540°C.
The Model PH-2200 Proheat Varitemp® Heat Gun features a patented electronic control feedback system that maintains constant temperature using any of five available attachments. Convenient, top mounted, dial-in control provides variable temperature adjustment from 50°C to 540°C. The two Proheat Heat Gun Kit models come standard with the PH-2100 and two attachments or the PH-2200 and five attachments, including a 34.9mm shrink tubing and 88.9mm spreader attachments, 14.3mm reducer and 7.9mm pinpoint attachments and a 12.7mm specialty attachment for terminating heat seal connectors. Both heat gun kits also include a compact, rugged plastic storage / carrying case with identified slots for the heat gun and attachments.
The new Model PH-2200-1 Proheat Varitemp Heat Shrink System includes the PH-2200 heat gun, a stable wire form heat gun stand and 12.7mm specialty connector attachment. Individual heat gun accessories available include the heat gun stand, nozzle shield and five stainless steel attachments sold separately or in a kit.
